Volunteer Requirements

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Saint Elizabeth Foundation and/or Journey Home Hospice. All volunteers must be a minimum of 18 years of age and are required to complete the following steps before their first shift:

Submit background paperwork

Vaccination record and a negative TB skin test or x-ray
COVID-19 vaccination record with a minimum of two doses
Vulnerable sector check

Complete online palliative care and enhanced volunteer training

Complete online palliative care and enhanced volunteer training
Palliative care training consists of 13 modules
Enhanced training consists of 11 modules
