Spiritual Care
Bringing peace and balance to people experiencing end-of-life journeys, grief and bereavement.
Bringing peace and balance to people experiencing end-of-life journeys, grief and bereavement.
End-of-life journeys affect our physical bodies, our psychosocial relationships, and our spiritual beliefs and dimensions. Additionally, for every individual death, the grief touches loved ones and others experiencing loss. Our spiritual care program offers multi-faith support to hospice patients, caregivers, and SE Health team members, free of charge.
Spiritual care has been shown to help people manage stress, improve their sense of overall wellness and well-being, self-esteem and interpersonal relationships. It helps them cope with illness, loss, grief, pain and more, finding peace and balance at end-of-life and during bereavement.
Saint Elizabeth’s spiritual care providers bring expert training, compassionate listening skills and lived experience to each interaction, helping to walk alongside individuals at every stage of their journey. The Foundation provides more than 4,000 hours of spiritual care annually.
You can have a profound and lasting impact. Please join us in tackling tough problems and creating a better, caring world.
